The Process of Production and Conversion

Rolling & Annealing

8011 jumbo foil/gauge begins as hot rolled then cold rolled to meet specified thickness measurement, followed by annealing to reach O temper (which means it is relatively soft and flexible).

Slitting & Rewinding

In the converting factory, the jumbo rolls are slit into narrower widths and rewound as small kitchen roll sizes (example; 10m, 20m, 30m). Each roll will then be put into a color box or wrapped in shrink film ready to be sold at retail.
