Our soft 8011 foil can be utilized across the culinary landscape just like there are numerous types of food! You'll find it being used in personal cooking on a daily basis to preserve foods in the fridge; by wrapping leftovers, cheese, and veggies, it acts as an impermeable layer for keeping moisture trapped inside the freezer to avoid freezer burn.

Why is 8011 alloy an optimal choice for use in soft foil products?
The 8011 alloy is well known for its great compromise between base strength and tear resistance combined with very high response to annealing, thus producing soft, consistent foils far superior to those produced by other commonly used alloys in the production of household foil.
10-12 microns (= Standard) – Ideal for common daily uses such as wrapping food items on a daily basis, covering bowls, and lining baking sheets.
15 microns (= Common/Versatile) – This thickness gives users more versatility, since it provides the necessary pliability, as well as additional strength, for a wide variety of domestic applications.
18-20 microns (= Heavy Duty) – The best thickness for freezer use and for wrapping items containing strong protrusions (e.g. bones) or sharp edges. Heavy Duty foil is also used in industrial or commercial applications for maximum product protection.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)? Do you have samples available?
The standard MOQ for production is two metric tonnes; however, you can mix various widths and package sizes in one order. Samples will be provided for quality control and market-testing before placing an order.
Can I reuse aluminum foil?
Recycling of aluminum foil is 100% and has an infinite number of uses. Aluminum foil should be placed in the recycling stream when it has been properly cleaned. It is estimated that approximately 95% of the energy used in the production of new metal from ore is saved by recycling aluminum; thus aluminum foil is a very environmentally friendly product.
How long does it take to receive products once they are ordered from your company?
For products with standard specifications found in our production schedule, the lead time to ship is usually 25-35 days from the date of your order confirmation. If any of the orders require an original custom printed plate or unique package, the lead time increases an additional 1-2 weeks. Every quote we send includes a specific time line associated with your product order.
