Use of products
Aluminum Foil Rolls 8011 Silver Foil is a versatile product suitable for a variety of kitchen and beyond applications. Here are the main use cases:
Food storage & storage: packaging of leftover food, bowl cover, cheese, butter or meat packaging. The foil ACTS as an absolute barrier to light, water, oxygen and bacteria, greatly extending the shelf life of perishable foods.
Cooking & Baking: arrange them on Baking sheets, cake fans and Baking trays without any effort. It is used to wrap potatoes, corn, fish, and vegetables for baking in the oven. The foil traps steam and taste, making dishes moist and perfectly cooked.
Grilling & Barbecue: packages of foil containing seafood, vegetables, or seasoned meat into the grill. The foil protects sensitive food from direct flame while allowing heat to circulate evenly.
Freezing food in the freezer. Aluminum foil creates a sealed seal that resists the formation of ice crystals and prevents freezer burns.
Heat distribution and protection: place a foil sheet under the pie shell to prevent the bottom from burning before the top ripens. By covering the breast of Turkey or chicken, it prevents excessive coloring while cooking indoors.
Non-food applications: sharp scissors (fold foil and cut repeatedly), light out silverware, protect oven racks from water droplets, lining or occasional funneling in painted trays.

Why the Middle East is the 8011 silver foil hot market:
A thriving hospitality industry: the Middle East, especially the UAE and Saudi Arabia, is home to some of the world's most luxurious hotel, restaurant and catering companies. These stores consume a large amount of high-quality aluminum foil to provide food preparation, room service, buffet, and banquet events.
Large family & social gatherings: Middle East culture values hospitality and large family dining. Dishes such as Kabsa, Mandi, Machboos and various yakiniku are often prepared in large quantities and need to be widely used with a wide and durable foil roll.
Grilling culture: with its warm climate and outdoor lifestyle, barbecue can be enjoyed all year round. The foil is essential for cooking kebabs, fish and vegetables, and is also used to clean the grill.
Baking & confectionery: traditional Middle East sweets such as Baklava, Kunafa and Ma'amoul require foil for packaging, storage and presentation.
Re-export hubs: the ports of dubai and zebel ali serve as major re-export hubs to Africa, the CIS (Russia, kazakhstan, uzbekistan) and South Asia. The price competitive and high-quality chinese-made 8011 is stored in the Middle East free zone and will be widely available in the future.
Hypermarket advantage: major retail chains such as Lulu Hypermarket, Carrefour, Nesto, Spinneys all work together to balance quality and price with the China 8011 Household foil.
What HTMM can offer you
HTMM is a professional supplier specialized in aluminum foil products. If you choose HTMM as your procurement partner, you will receive more than just a product. Comprehensive service package is provided.
Prime raw material guarantee: to make 8011 alloy, we only use prime grade aluminum ingots, not recycling scrap. All the badges meet strict chemical composition standards (Fe :0.6-1.0%, Si :0.5-0.9%).
Unlike suppliers that require containers to be fully loaded, HTMM welcomes trial orders of 1 tonne (LCL). This allows you to test the local market before committing to a larger volume.

FAQ(frequently asked questions)
Q1: what is the difference between alloy 8011 and alloy 1235 aluminum foil? Which is better at home?Answer: the primary difference lies in the chemical composition. Alloy 8011 is rich in iron (Fe:0.6-1.0%) and silicon (Si:0.5-0.9%), making it stronger, harder, and more wear-resistant. Alloy 1235 is 99.35% pure aluminum, which is smoother and more flexible. For home manual wrapping, Alloy 8011 is usually preferred because it is easier to handle, doesn't stick easily, and won't tear during use. 1235 May be suitable for industrial deep drawing apps, while 8011 is the industry standard for retail home foil rolls.
Q2: which of the foil needs to face up - bright or mat?Answer: during the final rolling path a bright surface is created and the foil of the two layers is dried together. The surface in contact with the shiny steel roller is brighter, while the inner surface remains light free. Both sides of cooking, freezing and packaging offer the same performance in terms of heat conductivity, cold resistance and food safety. However, if you are concerned about food sticking, turn the light-free surface toward the food side to provide a slightly less reflective surface. To maximize heat reflection (for example, to bake faster) turn the light towards the heat source side. The difference is small in actual use.
Q3: what is your MOQ? Can I buy a small quantity with a trial order?Answer: our standard MOQ for order printed retail packaging is 5 metric tons (about 20 ft container one). However, we know that new distributors and importers want to test the market before promising large quantities of goods. HTMM offers specimen orders of 1 metric ton or less for normal (unprinted) foil. This can be shipped via LCL(less than container load) integration. Please contact our sales team for availability and pricing of your current test order.
Q4: is this aluminum foil safe for use in the microwave?Answer: no, aluminum foil can never be used in a microwave. 8011 foil is completely safe to food contact existing ovens, grills, freezers, refrigerators, but not safe to microwave ovens. The electric field generated by electromagnetic waves causes an arc (spark) between the metal foil and the wall of the oven, which can damage home appliances and even cause fire. If you use a microwave, use safe vinyl wrap or wax paper in the microwave.
Q5: how can I pull it from the box to prevent the foil from tearing?Answer: tearing during classification is usually caused by one of three factors :(1) poor quality alloy, (2) wrong pulling technique, or (3) broken cutter. Follow the following tips on high quality 8011 foil from HTMM:
Instead of pulling the foil up vertically, pull it horizontally at a 45 degree Angle.
Make sure the cutter in the shape of the teeth is clean and unbent.
Don't pull the roll too fast or too hard.
If the tear is sustained despite the correct technology, a slightly thicker gauge may be required (e.g., upgraded from 10 microns to 12 or 14 microns for rugged applications).
Q6: do you offer environmentally friendly or sustainable packaging options?A: yes, of course. HTMM offers several eco options for environmentally sensitive brands:
FSC certified paper cores (Forest Stewardship Council certified, supplied from sustainable forests)
Recycled cardboard boxes (at least 70% recycled after consumers)
Plastic free packaging on request
Biodegradable cutter (available for bulk ordering)
Please state your sustainability requirements when placing your order.
Q7: what kind of documents do you provide at each shipment?Answer: all HTMM submissions include the following documents:
Mill test certificate (MTC) certifying chemical composition and mechanical properties
Commercial invoice
Packing list including detailed roll count, weight and dimensions
Bill of lading (original securities or telex release)
Certificate of origin (if required for import tariff preference)
Food safety declaration (FDA/EU compliance)
Insurance card (at the time of request)
