While it's called a "home" foil, the utility of Alloy 8011o extends over a variety of scenarios:
Food storage & storage: wrap the remaining pizza, cover the bowl for salad, or wrap the cheese block to prevent water loss. The foil ACTS as a barrier to light, oxygen and bacteria.
Cooking & Baking: make a Baking sheet for easy cleaning. It is also used to wrap potatoes, corn, or fish when baking in the oven to make flavor.
Bake: make foil packets to put vegetables and seafood on the barbecue grill. The high thermal conductivity of aluminum is cooked uniformly without food riding.
Heat distribution: put a piece of dull side foil under the baked peel when in a hurry to prevent the bottom from burning while the top is ripe.
Non-food use: sharp scissors (fold and cut foil), wipe silver tableware or protect oven shelves from water droplets.
Middle became the largest import hub of China 8011o household foil. Country such as the UAE(dubai, ABU dhabi), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, jeddah), Qatar (doha), Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain have shown steady high demand.
Why is the Middle East a hot market for this product?
Hospitalityi industry: the Middle East is home to some of the world's most exclusive hotels and catering services (such as dubai and doha). These stores use large amounts of premium foil for food preparation and room service.
Large family units: middle eastern families often have large family gatherings and large meals (such as the qabsa and mandi). Large foil rolls (450mm wide) are preferred to cover large serving trays.
Bake culture: the climate is better to bake outdoors (barbecue). Saj bread and roast meat need strong foil.
Supply chain hub: dubai serves as a re-export hub to Africa and CIS countries. Chinese foils dominate the shelves of hypermarkets such as Lulu, Carrefour and Nesto due to their cost efficiency and superior quality.
What HTMM can offer you
HTMM is not just a seller. We are a manufacturing partner specializing in aluminum conversion. If you source from HTMM, you will see the following message.
Raw material warranty: To ensure that the 8011 alloy meets the strict chemical composition standards (Fe :0.6~1.0%, Si :0.5~0.9%), we use prime grade aluminum ingot (not recycled scrap).
Flexibility MOQ: You know your startup or distributor needs flexibility. We have received a trial order for 5 tons (one pallet mix) and are testing it in the market.
OEM branding: We design and print high quality color boxes. Provide a logo. We provide 4-8 color gravure printing service.
High-speed LEAD TIME: STANDARD SPECIFICATION ROLLS (12~14 MICRON, 30 CM WIDE) CAN BE shipped within 25~30 DAYS AFTER DEPOSIT.
Quality control: All rolls are subject to pinhole test and thickness tolerance test (within ±10%). Issuing mill Test Certificate (MTC).
Q1: What's the difference between alloy 8011 and alloy 1235 at home?
Answer :8011 has a little higher content of iron and silicon than 1235. This makes the 8011 harder and stronger for tearing (high tensile strength) than the very soft 1235. In domestic hand-lapping, the 8011 is preferred to the 1235 because it is easier to handle and less adhesive.
Q2: Which side of the foil should be facing up (light side or matte side)?
Answer: The bright side is caused by the final rolling path where the two foils are pressed together. The side bordering the roll is lightened, and the inside is matted. Whether cooked or frozen, both conduct heat and cold alike. However, if not gluing, turn the matte side to the food. If you use a bright side in an oven, it will reflect a little radiant heat. (But the difference is minimal.)
Q: What is MOQ? Can I buy at least 500 copies for trial?
Answer: Our standard MOQ for custom printing and packaging is 5 metric tons (about 1 x 20ft container). However, if you want to test the market with a small amount of free (non-printed) gourd, you can prepare at least 3 ton of consolidated shipment or LCL (less than container load). Regarding the current test policy, you can contact HTMM's sales department.
Q4: Is this foil microwave safe?
Answer: Gone. Foil is safe for food contact, but you should never put large sheets of aluminum foil in the microwave. An electric field causes a spark that is likely to damage the oven. Safe for convection ovens, grills, and freezers, but not strictly safe for microwaves.
Q5: What do I do to keep the foil from bursting when I pull the foil from the box?
Answer: The cracks are mostly caused by pinhole machining from low quality alloys. Using a serrated cutter, use HTMM 8011o foil again, do not pull the foil vertically. If you pull horizontally at a 45 degree Angle and continue to tear, you may need a slightly thicker gauge. (For example, go from 10 micron to 14 micron for solid use.)
Q6: Do you have plastic cutters or green package?
Answer: yes. The HTMM offers a standard serrated plastic cutter, slide cutter or "press-to-cut" safety cutter. It also offers FSC certified paper SIMS and recycled paper boxes for customers in need of eco-friendly 'green' packaging solutions.
