In spite of the increase in width to 45 cm, there have been no changes to the thickness ranges provided by the commercial foil roll manufacturers because it is still based on three pre-existing standards: 10μm-12μm light commercial grade, 18μm medium- heavy duty grade, 20μm-25μm; heavy duty. Each layer of different thicknesses is correlated with the applied and secured pressure, temperature under operation, and amount of service performed on it, making them compatible with the intended use of 45 cm aluminum foil roll.
For very lightweight applications, the thin gauge is usually the most cost-effective way to use commercial-grade aluminum foil. At this thickness range, the basic core performance characteristics of aluminum foil will be present, designed to provide good insulation from air, protect against moisture and protect against oil. Being lightweight and low consumption means that using these thicknesses will not materially increase the total cost of materials used by a large number of companies. In order to provide cold trays and to cover large amounts of food to help preserve food in kitchens and food service operations for the purpose of temporarily covering large amounts of food on a daily basis with 45 cm aluminum foil rolls, a light commercial grade has always been used to accomplish these goals.
The 18μm medium thickness has become the most versatile and versatile commercial specification available in the mainstream. This medium thickness provides a much improved tensile strength and tear resistance compared to thin-gauge foil, so cracks or damages are less likely to occur when the medium thickness is stretched, folded or subjected to high-temperature heating. The medium thickness maintains stable temperature adaptations to both conventional commercial ovens and barbecues, providing even heat conduction and an even cooking of food products. Available in width of 45cm roll format, the medium thickness is perfectly suited for all large-scale commercial pastry baking, wrap up ingredient for batch barbecue cooking and for semi-finished food processing in a central kitchen. Because of the combination of its durability, high temperature resistance and reasonable price, the medium thickness is the most commonly used specification used by chain caterers and food processor operations.
This ultra-heavy-duty 20-25 micrometer thickness is specifically made to accommodate heavy use and sustained heat commercially. This extra-thick specification also offers excellent puncture resistance and heat resistance, as well as reusability. Its ability to withstand high weight ingredient pressure and extended, high-temperature commercial baking (320°F/200°C) without deformation, breaks, or oxidation means it is the best choice for commercial use in very large areas, such as roasting whole meats or baking fish, long-term bulk catering, insulated, and/or hot contiguously disinfecting in one package for catering, and generally speaking, has been developed to eliminate the common problems of ordinary thin foil (easy to tear/poor heat resistance) and greatly improve the safety and quality of goods being produced for commercial purposes.
With their fully developed thickness system and an ultra-wide design of 45 cm, commercial aluminum foil rolls have broadened their commercial application range from traditional foil scenarios of 30 cm to much greater sizes. In catering use, these foils are in wide use for covering large trays of food to prevent oil soaking in and for baking large batches of food in commercial ovens, along with keeping all food hot (for example, removing food from the oven and stacking in trays for buffets) at large catering establishments (like hotels and companies); providing excellent sealing against dust, moisture and bacteria due to being tightly sealed packages of frozen semi-prepared food; and for prepacked takeaway food in bulk quantities to keep products free from contaminants, dust and/or moisture.
In addition to their widespread use for commercial catering, 45 cm commercial foil rolls have a large number of other, additional commercial applications. The large surface area they cover makes them well suited for lining large commercial equipment to provide thermal insulation; protecting exhibit and storage trays against moisture and corrosion; and facilitating heat transfer to/from industrial kitchen equipment. All standard commercial-grade foils utilize FDA-approved and food safe raw materials and do not emit toxic substances when heated, meeting or exceeding all applicable international food safety standards; forming a good basis for widespread commercial adoption of these foils.
HTMM Factory has professional aluminum foil manufacturing experience for over 15 years and has a thorough understanding of the matching rules of foil thickness and width with commercial scenarios. The factory ensures that all raw materials produced for both 30cm and 45cm commercial grade aluminum foil rolls are purified, rolled and finished to exacting standards so that each finished product has a constant uniform thickness, no pinholes, high strength and stable high/low-temperature resistance. Compared to conventional aluminum foil, the HTMM commercial aluminum foil rolls have greater structural stability than conventional aluminum foil when used in a larger format making them less susceptible to deformation or tearing. The factory offers standardized batch production and custom length packaging for all international commercial customers looking for bulk purchases and personalized options.
To summarize, the 45cm commercial grade aluminum foil roll is an upgraded and optimized commercial specification based on the existing 30cm foil thickness specifications. The three classic commercial thicknesses available accurately represent covering commercial performance levels (low, medium and high) and provide a balance between the service performance and overall cost. With the backing of HTMM Factory's 15 years of professional manufacturing experience, the 45cm commercial aluminum foil roll is now considered an essential high efficiency product for large volume applications in the global professional food service industry.
