Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Q1: what is the difference between dining box foil on an airliner and standard household aluminum foil?A: standard household foil is usually thinner (0.010-0.020mm) and not engineered for fast forming or repeated heating. Airliner foils use specific alloys (such as 8011) and temperer control to ensure the required rigidity of the splited-out trays and also provide pinhole free assurance to prevent the source from leaking during turbulence and oven convection.
Q2: can I use foil in both existing ovens and microwave ovens?A: yes, no. This foil is superior to conventional and convective ovens up to 250°C. However, it is not recommended to put a large foil container in the microwave because arcing may occur. When reheating the microwave, it is recommended to transfer the food to another dish or use a specially coated, microwave-friendly foil (available on request).
Q3: what is the minimum order quantity and can I order a blend palette for testing?A: our standard MOQ is 3 metric tons per single alloy/thickness. The first purchaser receives one ton of commercial MOQ. In addition, because of mechanical test five different thickness (0. 0) 4 5/0.050/0.060/0.070/0.080 mm), each 10 kg product called 'sample pack containing the -- sample pack for offering MOQ, you do not need to take .
Q4: is foil resistant to acidic foods such as tomato sauce or lemon dressing?Yes. Alloys 8011 and 3003 have excellent corrosion resistance when properly manufactured. Our foil passes the standard acid bearing test (40 hours at 5% acetic acid at 2 °C). Pitting or without metal movement. For acidic dishes, we recommend the lacquered version for extra safety.
Q5: how to ensure that the foil arrives without edge cracks and deflections suitable for high-speed automatic packaging lines?A:HTMM USES inline edge trimming and A laser-based surface inspection system with 0.01mm resolution. All coils are tested for tensile strength (≥95 MPa) and elongation (≥15%). It also provides a "forming log" for each shipment to document foil performance on industry standard machines such as Rondo and Marel machines.
